Interim Benefits Study

On September 4, 2012, ERS submitted to the Texas Legislature two comprehensive studies on state employee health and retirement benefits. Both reports are the result of a year-long research process designed to be transparent and to include all stakeholders with an interest in the future of state employee benefits. The legislative charge was to present a range of options for the Legislature’s consideration.
