Investment Consulting Services RFQ

Description: The purpose of the RFQ is to contract with multiple firms to provide investment consulting services. The services required by the RFQ are divided into seven (7) service categories, which are:

  • Investment Practices and Performance Reporting Consulting;
  • General Investment Consulting;
  • Private Equity Consulting;
  • Private Infrastructure Consulting;
  • Private Real Estate Consulting;
  • Private Credit Consulting; and
  • Hedge Fund Consulting.

The investment consultants shall provide advice and assistance to ERS on maintaining and monitoring investment strategies that are consistent with and integrated into ERS’ Investment Policy Statement. ERS’ investment of assets is also governed by laws of the state, of Texas, including but not limited to, Tex. Gov’t Code Sections 815.301 through 815.307 and the Texas Constitution, Article 16, Section 67.

Dental PPO/HMO RFP

Description: The purpose of the RFP is to contract with a qualified entity to provide the following services under the Texas Employees Group Benefits Plan in accordance with Chapter 1551 of the Tex. Ins. Code:  

  1. A dental preferred provider organization plan (State of Texas Dental Choice PlanSM), a self-funded plan; and 
  2. A dental health maintenance organization plan. 

Date: The RFP will be published in November 2024.

Annual Incentive Compensation Plan Validation Services RFP

Description: The purpose of the RFP is to contract with a qualified firm to provide annual third-party validations of ERS’ incentive compensation plan awards.
Date: The RFP will be published on or around April 30, 2024.

Call Center Services RFP

Description: The purpose of the RFP is to select a qualified entity to provide call center services. ERS requires a customer service team dedicated to its call center operations whose sole responsibility shall be to respond to and resolve members’ customer service and benefits-related needs.
Date: The RFP will be published in September 2024.
